The Dugout Club’s “Just Play Ball” program started out as a purely grassroots program back in 2015. But because the Richmond area appears to lack a solid development program – as expressed by many – TDC, The BallYard Training Centre, Rmd Baseball and 5TOOL Baseball have all come together in 2019 to develop it a bit further than at first envisioned.
While staying true to the original intent of introducing MANY to a sport that is “loved by many….yet understood by few“, we’ve developed a program that will serve the needs of both those just beginning to understand “The Game“, as well as those that want to see just how far it can eventually take them. i.e. The PBL, College, overseas to play, etc.
The program is open to ALL Richmond residents, with an additional “BONUS” in place for those that sign up for BOTH the 10 week “Just Play Ball” program as well as the Richmond Little League 2019 Spring Season.
The T-BALL / ROOKIE Group and the MAJORS / PEE WEE Group are both led by Jack Thompson of 5TOOL Baseball as well as eligible for KidSport Funding for those qualified for receiving assistance.
